Event: Launch of Stella McCartney shop
Location: Bruton Street, London
Sculpture: 8' Leaping Unicorn
Fashion Store Opening
Based on a painting owned by the fashion designer, The Ice Box created an 8-foot leaping unicorn. Weighing in at a fraction under a tonne, the sculpture was erected in the middle of the shop floor on the first floor as a completely freestanding piece housing all drainage and lighting within its own stage.
The result:
Both end client and production company were 'in awe' of the sculpture - it attracted numerous comments and a shot of it survived the editing suite to air on the documentary Being Stella McCartney.
