Euro 2004 Product Awareness Campaign
The client's objectives were:
PR coverage and television exposure local Portugal/Spain/Greece/France/Italy
Product trial and sampling
High profile presence in public locations
Recognition of sponsorship/joint activity during European Cup Finals
Original positioning of Iced Tea' product versus other brands
Association of ice in hot environment
The event involved:
2 shipments of 2 x 17.5 ton freezer transport lorries
2 Ice Box transit support vans
3000 kms in ferry & road travel
over 21 tons of ice!
Direct sunlight & exposure to over 40 degree heat
The result:
A successful sampling campaign and a happy client:
Just a very short note to say a big thank you for all the hard work your teams put into making the past few weekends possible the trophy looked fantastic on Sunday (see attached). It was a shame the spirits of the Portuguese were cut short by the Greeks, all in the entire spectacle was a real success though!"
